Mattis H. M. Austrheim

Nato a Oslo, in Norvegia, nel 1998. Da bambino ha cantato nel più rinomato coro maschile norvegese. Ha poi conseguito la laurea in musica presso la Royal Danish Academy of Music nel 2021 e completerà il master presso l’Università di Stavanger nel 2023. Durante gli studi si è esibito in diverse opere, come Gianni Schicchi di Puccini e Carmen di Bizet, e in diversi concerti con repertorio sia operistico che liederistico. Durante un periodo di studi presso il Conservatorio di Salerno, Austrheim ha incontrato la pianista Ida Visconti, con la quale ha lavorato principalmente sul Lied tedesco, oltre che sulle canzoni d’arte norvegesi e italiane e sul repertorio operistico.

Mattis H. M. Austrheim was born in Oslo, Norway in 1998. As a child, he sang in Norway most renowned boys’ choir. This led him onto the path of music as a young adult. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in music from the Royal Danish Academy of Music in 2021 and will complete his master’s degree from the University of Stavanger in 2023. Apart from his studies, he has performed in several operas, such as Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi and Bizet’s Carmen, as well as several concerts with both operatic and Lied repertoire. In Salerno’s Conservatory Austrheim met pianist Ida Visconti, with whom he has worked mainly on German Lied, as well as Norwegian and Italian art songs and Opera repertoire.

Ida Visconti

Nata a Battipaglia (Sa), ha conseguito la laurea specialistica con il massimo dei voti e la menzione speciale come Maestro accompagnatore al pianoforte presso il Conservatorio di Salerno, approfondendo il repertorio operistico sotto la guida del M° Laura Gatti e quello pianistico con il M° Emilio Aversano. Attualmente prosegue gli studi frequentando un ulteriore biennio specialistico in musica da camera, con particolare attenzione al repertorio vocale liederistico. Ha inoltre conseguito il primo premio alla Franz Schubert International Music Competition ed. 2023 nella sezione “Duo performance”.

Born in Battipaglia (Sa), she graduated with the highest mark in the ‘ Piano accompaniment ‘ Master Degree at the Conservatory of Salerno, deepening the opera repertoire under the guidance of M° Laura Gatti and the piano repertoire with M° Emilio Aversano. She is currently continuing her studies by attending a further Master course in chamber music, with a focus on the lieder vocal repertoire. Ida Visconti is also winner of First Prize in the Franz Schubert International Music Competition 2023 (Duo Performance).
