AMCK Live is proud to announce Tropea Cipolla Party will take place the  22-23-24 May 2020 online via Tropea Cipolla Party YouTube channel Facebook and Instagram.

Tropea Cipolla Party is the official celebration of the most famous Red Onion in the world and a showcase of Calabrian excellence.

Voted as the new Food Capital by “TIME”, Calabria has much to offer its inhabitants and tourists! The event will host world masterclasses, live cooking demonstrations and panel discussions with international chefs that will all be accessible at home.

Fresh pasta homemade pizzas dolci and gelato all made for the audience interact with at home. Ingredient lists will be published before the masterclasses so that anyone who wants to join in can ensuring they get to taste as well as marvel at the dishes from our talented chefs.

The event will be hosted by TCP founder Paolo Pecoraro, Tropean native who now resides in London, and his wife Aicha Mckenzie. As the Patron Chef of Tropea Cipolla Party, Francesco Mazzei will be inviting viewers to COOK WITH US across the weekend.

In addition to Chef Mazzei the line-up includes critically acclaimed chefs Nino Rossi, Antonio Biafora, Nick Difino, Emanuele Lecce, Michele Rizzo, Giuseppe Romano, Antonio Abbruzzino, Luca Abbruzzino, Riccardo Sculli , Annamaria Pellegrino, Denny Imbroisi, Mario Napolitano and Maestro Gelataio Domenico Penna.

THE COOKING SCHOOL will be run each day at 3pm by Osteria della Cipolla Rossa working through range of traditional typical Calabrian home cooked dishes.

Excited to introduce the addition of the TCP COCKTAIL VILLAGE a virtual cocktail bar with some of the Worlds most well renowned mixologists and bar tenders, highlighting the famous and not so famous Italian tipples.

Simone Caporale leading the way with Gianfranco Cacciola, Umberto Oliva, Roberto Gulino and Daniel Singer from Filthy Foods inc. Miami USA.

The new WINE CLUB guides wine lovers through a tasting experience with Wine experts Luca Dusi and Gugliermo Gigliotti together with the MAGNA GRAECIA WINES and BENVENUTO CANTINES.

An insightful panel discussion on the FUTURE OF FOOD AND WINE TOURISM including speakers Professor Roberta Garibaldi enogastronomic expert , Guiseppe Laria president of the Onion Consortium , Nino Macri Mayor of Tropea, Giuseppe Carta sculptor and painter, Vitaliano Papilo & Franco Barbalace GAL Terre Vibonesi Association, Antonio and Luca Abbruzzino Michelin Star Calabrian Restaurant Chaired by Valerio Caparelli.

MARKET PLACE will see local artisan producers from Olive Oil to cheese makers displaying their wares interviewed by LUIGI SALSINI.

Calabrian super Distillery FRATELLI CAFFO have created especially for the occasion an hydro alcohol spray infused with Cipolla Rossa di Tropea Calabria IGP for use in premium cocktails and gourmet cooking.

Not all just food and drink there will be a moment to digest it all with a ONI-OM YOGA class led by Wellness expert Aicha Mckenzie of AMCK FIT and for the kids there will be a singing class led by Vicky Martinez from MILLE E UNA VOCE school in Rome.

Joining the party are also special guest appearances and performances by Kevin Stea, DJ Iggy Pec, Estelle Rubio, DJ Nikki Beatnik and Pussy Cat Doll Kimberly Wyatt.
